@Eurovelo5 wasn't there any small pole (potelet) further up the road?
@39teeth @michaelibarry To me, saying that Le Métier is about doping is like accusing the Manx Missile of motorised doping
@vpijpers Nice to see you on twitter! Saw the Rabobank study on bikes in NED RTed by
@EisengaL . V interesting, is there an English version?
How great is twitter. I get minute by minute weather reports from the Tour by 10 different sources. So, folks... It's raining in Aigle
Watch

@cyclingalps Beautiful. Do you know Col du Sanetsch? ±1700m ascent above Sion and only cablecar to go down other side to Gsteig near Gstaad
@dolomitesport I will be around between Sept 1 and 8... Week end of 4-5? Let me know!
@cyclingalps oops... Didn't they tell u it's for x-country skiing in winter - I must be the only idiot to ski to the top, ridiculously steep
@cyclingalps I live halfway up the climb so easier for me. But beautiful view on Massif des Diablerets
Met an exhausted cyclist from Brooklyn at the top of Col de la Croix on my afterwork ride. "We don't have such mountains in NY" Errr... yeah
@davidmcquaid You mean the cartoon on the homepage? Could be! Hope to go for a ride after work. All OK in Bergamo?
On my way to
@MontreuxJazz festival. Sophie Hunger later tonight, should be good
@mrgregjohnson Based on Bernie's Russia/SA statement, not enough. But I must say I am not expert enough to have a definitive opinion
@mrgregjohnson No, but IF governance on a pro sport ensures commercial interests are balanced by sporting interests. Not an easy task!
When sport is gov'd by private interests: "It would be nice to cover the world, but Russia is more important right now"

World Cup 2010: Brailsford pinpoints England failings
http://bit.ly/9a8ZsY < Interesting to see BBC ask cycling chief to comment on football
@dolomitesport Do it! Am racing Bergrennen (road bike) in Wallis tomorrow
@benjaminfitz Did you enjoy the atmosphere of the jazz festival in Montreux?
Dear TdF twitter community. We know it's hot today. It's hot too in my office. Can we change subject? And if there's nothing to say...
Usain Bolt 9.82, world season best. Faster than Cav?
Watching Tour on TV. Sunflowers and a cute ardoisière. And some boiling riders
@MoJoe Villars good for road, half way up col de la croix, close to low rhone valley, lake of geneva. Other towns are more isolated
@MoJoe For sure you'd get all that in Villars. Riederalp more typical (no cars in town) but cycling better in Villars
@MoJoe Villars of course as I live there! But depends on what you are looking for. Summer? Winter?
